Step 1. Get required materials such as a Piece of Paper, Something to Write with, Tape Measure,and a Calculator.

2. Measure Length, Width, and Depth of the Area that you want to Gravel in.

3. Record Measurements Accurately. Use Inches Conversion Table to Convert Inches to Decimal.

4. Multiply Length by Width then Width by Depth then Divide by 27. Ex. 12'L X 4'W X 5'3''D / 27= 9.333 Yards/Tons
